Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Atelier LLC (“Atelier,” “we,” “us”), operating the OnCall Trades service (“OnCall Trades,” the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information. It applies to our website, our AI phone receptionist, and the onboarding and dashboard tools we provide to service businesses (“Customers”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect only what the Service needs to answer calls and book work:
- Account information — the business name, contact email, phone number, and plan of the Customer who signs up.
- Call content — audio, transcripts, and structured outcomes (caller name, requested service, address, appointment window) from calls our AI receptionist handles on a Customer’s behalf.
- Calendar data — availability (busy/free blocks) and the appointments we create, via Google Calendar or an ICS calendar you subscribe to (see Section 3).
- Messaging data — SMS we send or relay on a Customer’s behalf and their delivery status (see Section 5).
- Prospect data — publicly available business information (business name, website, listed phone and email) used to prepare a personalized demo (see Section 6).
- Essential website data — first-party, cookieless analytics needed to operate the site (see Section 7).
2. How we use information
We use information to operate the Service: to answer and understand calls, check availability, book and confirm jobs, notify Customers and their callers, provide the dashboard, take payment for subscriptions, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not use call content, calendar data, or Google user data to train generalized AI models, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Google Calendar access and Limited Use
If a Customer connects Google Calendar, we request two scopes: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.freebusy. We use calendar.freebusy only to check when the Customer is busy or free — as opaque time blocks, never event titles, descriptions, or attendees — so the receptionist only offers times the Customer is actually free. We use calendar.events to write the appointments booked during calls. We request no broader scope: full-calendar read access is more than we need, so this pair is the least-privilege combination that supports availability-aware scheduling.
OnCall Trades’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
A Customer can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the dashboard or by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all future reads and writes; previously created appointments remain on the calendar until the Customer removes them.
4. Call recording and consent
Calls handled by the Service may be recorded and transcribed so the receptionist can understand the caller and so Customers can review outcomes. Some jurisdictions require all parties to consent to recording. Customers are responsible for ensuring callers are notified as required by law; where we provide the greeting, it discloses that the call is handled by an automated assistant and may be recorded. If a caller does not consent, they may end the call. Recordings and transcripts are handled under the retention rules in Section 8.
5. SMS messaging
The Service sends transactional SMS — appointment confirmations, callback notices, and relays of caller messages to the Customer. These are not marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of further messages and HELP for help. We keep a suppression record of numbers that opt out so they are not messaged again.
6. Prospect outreach and opt-out
To show a business what OnCall Trades would sound like for them, we may build a personalized demo using publicly available business information (business name, website, and publicly listed contact details) and send a limited number of outreach emails. Every outreach email identifies us, includes our physical mailing address, and contains a working one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing immediately suppresses the address from further contact and removes the associated demo. To opt out of outreach, or to have prospect data about your business deleted, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact privacy@oncalltrades.org.
7. Cookies
We use no non-essential cookies and no third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Website analytics are first-party and cookieless: we count page views and key actions without a persistent cross-site identifier. Strictly necessary storage may be used to keep a signed-in session working.
8. Data retention
We retain account information for as long as an account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Call recordings, transcripts, and call outcomes are retained only as long as needed to provide the Service and are then deleted or anonymized. Suppression records (opt-outs) are retained as long as necessary to honor the opt-out. When a Customer closes their account, we delete or anonymize their data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
9. Deletion and your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Customers can delete calendar connections, call data, and their account from the dashboard, or request deletion by emailing privacy@oncalltrades.org. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Data obtained through Google APIs is deleted on account deletion and on Google Calendar disconnection, subject to the Limited Use commitment in Section 3.
10. How we share information
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract (for example, telephony, SMS delivery, cloud hosting, and payment processing), when a Customer directs us to (for example, writing to their Google Calendar), or when required by law. We never transfer Google user data to others except as necessary to provide the Service, in compliance with the Limited Use requirements.
11. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and secret management for third-party credentials — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.
12. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
